This is a comprehensive and professional line edit, not a simple proofread or grammar check.
I don't just read your document once and provide simple corrections. I spend an hour or more per every 1,000 words, going through your document line by line to improve and tighten your prose.
To do this, I eliminate filler words, filtering, excess dialogue tags, repetition, and redundancies throughout.
I edit sentences for structure, flow, clarity, and consistency. I evaluate word choice, tense usage, and the flow and characteristic of dialogue.
In addition, I provide developmental notes on hook, engagement, POV, narrative distance, pacing, readability, etc.
What you get:
- Two copies of your submitted story, manuscript, or other writing - one with Track Changes on (includes edits, comments, and notes explaining the reasons for my suggested changes) and one clean copy with edits made.
